Mobi Kids

My kids don't like math pages and having to drill in facts. We prefer a much more fun way of learning math!

Mobi Kids is a fun math game that uses colored tiles of numbers and operations.

You race to use all of the tiles to build number sentences that are cross-word style. They can go horizontal or vertical.

It is designed for two players but does include instructions on how to add more people.

It is included in the Timberdoodle first grade kit or can be purchased separately and is suitable for people ages four and up.

This game focuses on learning addition and subtraction for numbers 0-10.

I enjoyed playing it myself when I played with Alvin and Abigail individually! It was an excellent refresher for my old brain!

They include a page of mini-games to get your kids ready to play the full game.

I recommend playing them even if your kids are great at math.

It helps them learn how to place the tiles before starting the game.

Playing The Game!

We started the game with my oldest, Ella, helping Abigail, and I helped Alvin. Once I explained how to play,

the kids got the hang of it very quickly. It was a lot of fun to play and to watch.

Like most games, once Alvin and Abigail understood how to play, they could play by themselves.

I love that they are learning math facts while having fun.

I noticed that Abi liked to have multiple equations in a row before moving out.

Alvin liked to make his more of a box design each time. It was interesting to watch the different ways they completed it.

I love all of the games, activities, and curriculum we get from Timberdoodle and recommend all of it!

We have never received anything we didn't thoroughly enjoy!
